We are seeking a Store Manager Trainee with at least 6+ months of store management experience. The trainee will partner with the Store Manager to lead and develop store employees, recruit and retain top talent, maximize financial goals, and manage customer satisfaction. The role combines daily store operations with strategic financial oversight. The trainee will also participate in the company's asset protection program and help drive new customer acquisition.

• Facilitate a customer‑centric environment by engaging customers professionally and addressing issues promptly.
• Provide training and development for pawnbrokers to meet First Cash standards.
• Recruit top talent through company‑prescribed sourcing channels.
• Open and close the store, count cash drawers and merchandise, and ensure all procedures are followed for asset protection.
• Maintain inventory control, property safety procedures, documentation, and secure customer loans.
• Administer store processes: inventory, loan management, merchandising, store presentation, store systems, and enterprise‑level reporting.
• Analyze financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal setting.
• Ensure operating standards meet or exceed First Cash standards.
• Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to maintain loan value and integrity.
• Complete assigned tasks and training for self‑development.
• Communicate clearly with employees to reinforce the store’s mission and profit objectives.
• Stay up‑to‑date on product knowledge.
• Act as manager on duty in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Load‑handling for extended periods (standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting).
• Demonstrated supervisory ability.
• Firearms experience and certification required; ability to handle firearms.
• May need to assist customers outside the building or retrieve products from exterior storage.
• Minimum age 18.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Flexibility to work in multiple locations.
• Flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Will work 45+ hours per week; hours are not guaranteed.
• Computer literacy and proficiency with POS and common office equipment.
• Ability to multitask in fast‑paced environments.
• Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Analytical skills.
• Cash handling experience required.
• Self‑motivated with minimal supervision.
• Excellent work ethic and strong business sense.

Store Manager Trainees have the potential to earn 2‑8% commission based on the gross profit of personal performance. Details of the commission incentive plan are provided during the interview process.
