Position Overview

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the comprehensive logistics operations of the company, including warehouse management, inventory control, and distribution. This role ensures the efficient and effective flow of goods from receipt to delivery, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and ensuring timely distribution to meet customer demands.

What you will do
  • Supervise daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient storage, retrieval, and dispatch of goods.
  • Implement and maintain warehouse safety protocols and procedures.
  • Oversee the maintenance and organization of warehouse facilities and equipment.
  • Coordinate with the procurement team to manage incoming shipments and ensure proper storage.
  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the purchasing department to replenish stock as needed and perform audits as needed.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
  • Plan and oversee the distribution of goods to ensure timely and accurate delivery to customers.
  • Coordinate with transportation providers to optimize delivery routes and schedules.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of distribution activities, implementing improvements as necessary.
  • Resolve any issues related to distribution, including delays, damages, or discrepancies.
  • Lead, train, and develop a team of warehouse, inventory, and distribution staff.
Skills for Success
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management, inventory control, and distribution.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
