Fusion Medical Staffing is partnering with Travel Nurse Source  to fill this Med/Surg RN travel assignment. As a member of our team you will deliver high‑quality patient care, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and manage an acute patient population.

• One year of recent Med/Surg RN experience
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification

• NIHSS certification
• ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification
• Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position

• Explain procedures and treatments to patients and families
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and document changes
• Assist with diagnostic procedures and monitor patient responses
• Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for recovering patients
• Document comprehensive patient information in the medical record
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create individualized care plans
• Manage multiple patients efficiently, prioritizing care based on acuity
• Ensure infection control practices are strictly followed
• Advocate for patient needs and preferences
• Facilitate discharge planning and coordinate with external resources
• Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice
• Adhere to hospital safety protocols and regulatory standards

• Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
• English language proficiency (read, write, speak)
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions; proficiency in PC skills
• Physical ability to remain stationary, move equipment (50‑100lbs), push, pull, and bend
• Interpersonal skills to work effectively with staff and ancillary personnel
• Technical/motor skills to perform fine manipulation and assist with procedures
• Mental resilience to manage frequent contact with the public and meet deadlines under pressure
• Sensory acuity and effective communication
