The Queen Elizabeth Academy are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated fixed term Teaching Assistant, who will work well as part of a team that truly wants the best from our students. If you enjoy working with young people and would like to help them prepare for their future working lives, we would like to hear from you.
We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and forward‑thinking individual, with a real drive to enhance the whole school experience. As a key member of the learning support team, you will work under the guidance of designated teaching/senior staff to undertake work, care and support programmes, to enable access to learning for pupils and to assist the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom.
Work may be carried out in the classroom or outside the main teaching area under the guidance of teaching staff.
The successful candidate will have Maths and English GCSE grade c/4 or above and have previous experience of working with children. To succeed you will have the ability to muti‑task, have good organisation and time management skills and have effective oral and written communication skills.
