Role:

• Customer facing Test Lead role, tasked with the responsibility of leading the test effort on one or more Oracle Retail modules
• Involves fronting a part of the testing engagement, along with planning, estimation, and remediation of issues that impede the test effort

Must Have

Skills:

• 8-10 years’ testing experience in Oracle Retail, especially in RMS
• Ability to Plan, create and execute test scenarios, cases for Oracle Retail
• Must have good understanding of Oracle Retail in general
• Must have strong functional understanding of Retail Industry
• Good SQL query skills to query on databases via a SQL query tool such as SQL developer
• Must understand overall applications integration layout
• Highly Self Motivated

• Experience with QA Complete Test Management Tool

Responsibility:

• Ensuring the appropriate planning and management of the test resources
• Assessing and effectively reporting the progress and effectiveness of the test effort
• Advocating the appropriate level of quality by the resolution of important defects
• Track and prepare the report of testing activities like test testing results, test case coverage, required resources, defects discovered and their status, performance baselines etc
• Prepares / updates the metrics dashboard at the end of a phase or at the completion of project and report back to the Sr. Test Manager
• Ensure content and structure of all Testing documents / artifacts is documented and maintained
• Escalate the issues about project requirements (Software, Hardware, Resources) to Project Manager / Sr. Test Manager
• Send Status Report (Daily, Weekly etc.) to the Sr. Test Manager / Client
