Tool Maker

One Place Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Tool Maker to join our client based in Atherstone. Our Client are a long standing manufacturer of various parts for the automotive industry and are looking to expand their team due to customer growth! The ideal candidate must be a qualified toolmaker with a history of experience in similar industries for their previous employer(s) and must be looking for a long term role.

The job roles are as follows;
Working with Medium sized pressings. Maintenance of tandem press dies that run in 26 single action presses ranging from 200 to 1200 tonnes, plus 2 progression presses to 200 and 500 tons. Welding and grinding back of die sections. Punch repair and replacement Tool related fault finding Familiar with all toolroom equipment such as Lathes, Drillers, Millers, Grinders, Wire eroding and gas welding.

Resistance welding maintenance experience and Cad and CMM capabilities would be advantageous. The hours of work can be between the following shifts (fixed not rotating): .

-20.00 The rate of pay starts at £17 - £19 per hour. The days of work are Monday-Friday.
