(Please note this is a full-time role only)

• Provide a complete Food Safety and Quality Assurance function to various departments, ensuring all products are manufactured safely and hygienically from raw materials to finished goods.
• Ensure weights, temperatures, dates and labels are correct on all products.
• Monitor new products, specification changes and promotions, communicating requirements to production line staff.
• Identify and take corrective action for inaccurate work, isolating any ingredient, packaging or final product with issues.
• Comply with all technical and safety procedures, following the quality manual and relevant legislation including HACCP.

• Experience working in a fast-paced, chilled food manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience in food manufacturing with a focus on quality assurance.
• Strong attention to detail, safety practices and health & safety awareness.
• Experience leading or managing a team of 10 or more.
• Good numeracy and literacy skills; verbal and written communication.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong team player able to work independently.
