Process Controller

Responsibilities

• Provide a complete Food Safety and Quality Assurance function across departments, ensuring all products are manufactured safely and hygienically from raw materials to final products.
• Ensure weights, temperatures, dates, and labels are correct on all products.
• Monitor new products, specification changes, and customer promotions, ensuring production line staff comply with company procedures and customer specifications.
• Identify and correct inaccurate work, isolating any ingredient, packaging, or final product that may have issues.
• Comply with all technical and safety procedures, referencing the quality manual and current legislation including HACCP.
• Work in a fast‑paced, chilled manufacturing environment.
• Manage a team of 10 or more and follow management instructions and procedures.
• Work safely and maintain good health and safety practices.

• Experience in a fast‑paced, chilled food manufacturing environment.
• Experience in food manufacturing and a strong knowledge of HACCP.
• Attention to detail, good H&S practices, and ability to isolate and correct product issues.
• Team‑player who can work independently and manage a team of 10 or more.
• Good numeracy and literacy skills, both verbal and written.
• Basic awareness of health and safety.
• Competent use of Microsoft Office, especially intermediate Excel skills.
