Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer – maintain, install, and refurbish fabric and equipment across the GBS UK estates portfolio. Duties include monitoring building conditions, undertaking repairs and renovations, and assisting Estates and Facilities with refurbishment planning. The role may require travel to other GBS UK campuses and demands flexible working to accommodate business operations. 40‑hour week, covering campus operating hours from Monday to Sunday, 7:00 am to 9:30 pm, with occasional out‑of‑hours work as required.

- Building and equipment maintenance
- Health, safety, and compliance
- Documentation and inventory management
- Refurbishment and fit‑out projects
- Travel and flexibility
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification
- City & Guilds Level 2 and or Level 3 in Electrical Installations, or equivalent NVQ, or demonstrable experience to the same standard.
- Previous experience in building maintenance including M&E systems.
- Manual skills, knowledge of refurbishment techniques.
- A flexible and proactive approach with a “can‑do” attitude.
- Familiarity with COSHH requirements for equipment and chemicals.
- Interpersonal skills to work independently and as part of the facilities wider team.
- Full, clean driving licence.
- 25 days annual leave, plus 8 public holidays
