The Best Connection Tamworth are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver to join our client based in Atherstone. This Class 2 Driver role offers consistent weekday work with a straightforward trunking route and no handballing required.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Class 2 Driver looking for regular Monday to Friday work within the transport and logistics industry

As a Class 2 Driver
, you will be responsible for completing a dedicated trunking route from Atherstone to Reading and return. The role involves driving safely and efficiently while completing deliveries without any manual handling requirements.

• Driving a Class 2 vehicle safely and professionally
• Completing the Atherstone to Reading trunking route and return journey
• Carrying out vehicle checks before and after shifts
• Completing all required paperwork accurately
• Following drivers' hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Maintaining excellent customer service standards
• Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and on time

• Minimum 1 year Class 2 driving experience
• Valid UK Class 2 (Category
  
  C) licence
• Valid Driver CPC qualification
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Reliable and professional attitude
• Good understanding of road transport regulations

• £15.00 per hour (flat rate for all hours)
• Monday - Friday
• Start time:
  11:00
• No handballing required
• Ongoing work available
