The Post-Harvest Lead reports to the Post Harvest Manager is responsible for supervising a small team with the day-to-day post-harvest work in accordance with standards set by the company. Provides direct support for all post-harvest associates, including training, policy and procedure updates, and adherence to Standard Operating Procedure including managing and tracking the harvest, dry, trim, cure, and packaging of product.
Responsible for highest possible standards of work in post-harvest, maintaining facility compliance, and cleanliness in accordance with state regulations and standards set by the company. Work is performed in a Post Harvest environment with regular exposure to cannabis plants, cannabis-related odors, pollen, dust, and varying temperatures, humidity levels, and lighting conditions typical of commercial cultivation operations.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS- Leadership & Training: Train, coach, and supervise Post-Harvest Associates, ensuring all team members follow standard operating procedures, department policies, good agricultural practices, and facility rules while completing tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Post-Harvest Operations:
Oversee and assist with all post-harvest procedures from harvesting through bulk packaging, including harvesting, drying, curing, burping, bucking, packaging, room sanitation, equipment sanitation, inventory monitoring, and related department activities. - Compliance & Documentation: Maintain accurate records, follow good documentation practices, support department KPI data collection and entry, and ensure all post-harvest records, production logs, and inventory documentation are completed accurately and on time.
- Inventory, Equipment & Facility Management: Operate and maintain post-harvest equipment and systems, stock department supplies as needed, maintain proper storage and sanitation of tools and equipment, and ensure post-harvest areas are cleaned, sanitized, organized, and prepared for daily operations.
- Regulatory Compliance & Quality Assurance: Perform associate audits, support environmental monitoring activities, maintain strict inventory controls, and ensure all post-harvest operations adhere to company standards, licensing requirements, state cannabis regulations, and all applicable federal and state laws.
- Support leadership in monitoring environmental conditions, including temperature, humidity, CO2 levels, VPD, and other cultivation and post-harvest metrics
- Maintain strict inventory records of plant materials, equipment, chemicals, and production activities
- Collaborate with cultivation and operations teams to support production schedules and departmental goals
- Identify and communicate operational issues, compliance concerns, or opportunities for process improvement
- Follow all company safety policies and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)

- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be 21 years of age
- Must pass a background check
- Must be able to obtain and retain a Registered Agent Card issued by the state of operation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment while following complex production and harvest schedules
- Physical ability to perform manual labor tasks required in a commercial cultivation environment
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, communication, and time management skills, with the ability to follow instructions, work effectively with peers, meet deadlines, and comply with all state regulatory cannabis requirements
- Comfortable working environments with high humidity, strong plant odors, and fluctuating temperatures
- Willingness to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and to follow sanitation and safety standards
- Ability to reliably travel to and from the facility
- Experience working with plants, horticulture, agriculture, greenhouse operations, or commercial cultivation environments
- Strong attention to detail and high levels of patience
- Ability to troubleshoot
- Team-oriented mindset and ability to collaborate successfully across departments and roles within both cultivation and operations
