Power Line Technician OR Apprenticeship
The successful candidate must have:
- Grade XII education including math and science
- Personal suitability
- Additional education would be an asset (in a related field)
The successful candidate would be required to:
- Work outside normal hours on call
- Work at heights on distribution equipment
- Have the ability to work in a physical demanding environment
- Be able to climb poles
- Be able to acquire a “DZ” class driver’s license
- If applicable complete a four year apprenticeship program which includes on the job training as well as formal instructions in theory and skills
