Plant Engineer

Position: Plant Engineer ON
Elevate your engineering career as a Plant Engineer in Atikokan, ON. This role involves maintenance, project support, and asset management for the mechanical crew at the Atikokan station.

The position at our client’s facility offers a hybrid work model, along with a 35-hour work week over four days. You'll perform crucial support for mechanical projects, as well as assist the operations group by writing procedures and providing technical advice on equipment. Candidates with a strong background in manufacturing or power plant operations will thrive here.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide maintenance support for mechanical maintenance crew

• Contribute to mechanical project support and specifications

• Engage in asset management and life extension for equipment

• Assist Operations by developing procedures for equipment

• Provide technical assistance to the Atikokan station

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering required

• Four years’ experience in manufacturing or power plants

• Experience in thermal power plants preferred

• Knowledge of Canadian Codes and TSSA Regulations

• P.Eng. certification required
