Position: Supervisory Role in Sawmill Production
Domtar is hiring a full-time Shift Supervisor to enhance operations at our Atikokan Sawmill in Ontario. Focus on production efficiency, safety compliance, and employee training.

In this impactful position, you'll oversee shift operations, coordinate maintenance efforts, and ensure the highest quality standards in lumber production. Ideal candidates will possess a technical diploma or degree coupled with three to four years of felt experience and proven leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure safety standards are maintained daily

• Optimize the use of materials and equipment for production goals

• Supervise and train team members for maximum output

• Work closely with maintenance for equipment efficiency

• Monitor product quality through inspections and collaborations

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in a relevant field required

• 3-4 years of leadership experience in the industry

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Strong analytical and organizational skills
