Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Assignment in Atlanta, GA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and guests. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity, reliability, teamwork, and care.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, delivery personnel, and/or vendors at a food and beverage production or distribution location while carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and assist with controlling entry to restricted operational, storage, and delivery areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and access-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
