Facility: Medical center offering a variety of services.
Opportunity:
- Looking for a Locum Hematology-Oncology Physician to provide coverage at two locations
- Inpatient consultative services across 2 hospitals 10 miles apart
- Dates of coverage: 1 week (7 days Mon-Sun) per month from January through July
- Patient population:
Adult and Geriatric - Practice distribution: 49% hematology, 51% oncology
- 5.6 physicians in the practice
- Radiation Oncologist available at EHT Cancer Center for case discussions
- 8 APPs providing coverage - Monday to Friday, an inpatient NP will assist the MD with notes, orders, and staff communication
- Average outpatient (clinic/office) patient load: 45 per day
- Average hospital patient load: 8 per day (5 consults, 3 follow-ups)

Oncology and Hematology in an inpatient setting - Hospital trauma level:
Atlantic City - Level 1 - EMR system:
Cerner - Required procedures:
