We are currently hiring an experienced Aviation Mechanic II to support Atlantic City, New Jersey and Joint Base Andrews, Maryland.
Active Secret Clearance is required for the Atlantic City, NJ location.
- Perform all scheduled and unscheduled corrosion related maintenance.
- Repair and maintain various mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on the MH‑65 to include various electrical, communication, navigation, and flight systems, sub‑systems, and equipment.
- Strong expertise in aircraft structural, sheet metal, composite, and corrosion repair, including corrosion control treatments and preventative coatings.
- Extensive hands‑on experience with aircraft components, assemblies, airframes, and substructures, including primary, secondary, and tertiary structures.
- Proficient in the use of standard and specialized aircraft maintenance tools and equipment, including torque wrenches, micrometers, dial indicators, sheet metal and composite repair tools, test stands, and ground support equipment.
- Ability to demonstrate proper maintenance methods and techniques.
- Skilled in interpreting and applying technical manuals, OEM documentation, blueprints, and maintenance instructions.
- Experience with supply, requisition, and technical publication systems.
- Ability to research aircraft maintenance history and configuration using aviation maintenance data systems (ALMIS experience desired).
- Knowledge of aviation safety practices, HAZMAT and hazardous waste procedures, and proper use of PPE.
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including confined spaces, elevated structures, and lifting moderate weights.
- Active Secret Clearance or Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance (Atlantic City ONLY)
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to pass a successful background check with the Department of Homeland Security.
- FAA A&P–certified mechanic with minimum 5 years’ experience, including 3+ years on rotorcraft comparable to the H‑65.
