ALSE Inspector / Maintainer

We are currently hiring an experienced ALSE Inspector / Maintainer to support Atlantic City, New Jersey, Mobile, Alabama, and Joint Base Andrews, Maryland.
Active Secret Clearance is required.
- Inspect, maintain, modify, and repair aviation rescue and survival equipment
- Perform ALSE system rigging, functional testing, troubleshooting, and corrective maintenance
- Install, adjust, and configure ALSE systems on fixed- and rotary-wing aircraft
- Use standard and specialized ALSE tools and test equipment to support maintenance activities
- Interpret and apply technical manuals, technical orders, OEM documentation, and maintenance instructions
- Initiate parts requisitions and utilize supply and technical publication systems
- Research maintenance history and system configuration using aviation maintenance data systems
- Active Secret Clearance or Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance (Atlantic City ONLY)
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to pass a successful background check with the Department of Homeland Security.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience (5 years preferred) working with aviation rescue and survival equipment, inspecting, maintaining, and modifying aviation rescue and survival equipment similar to USCG equipment is required
- Must be an ESD-ALSE designated personnel or a graduate of the USCG Aviation Survival Technician School
- Extensive knowledge of ALSE components, assemblies, and integrated systems
- Proficiency with ALSE tools, fixtures, test stands, and external power sources
- Working knowledge of aviation safety standards, HAZMAT and hazardous waste procedures, and PPE requirements
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including confined spaces, elevated platforms, and lifting moderate weights
- Experience with aviation maintenance data systems (ALMIS experience preferred)
- Meet site safety, medical and PPE requirements
