Slot Technician – Slot Operations – Full Time
Slot Technician position located in Atlantic City, NJ, focused on repair and maintenance of slot machines and related equipment in a casino environment.
AboutThe Role
The Slot Technician is responsible for performing repairs as needed on slot machines and related equipment, focusing on customer service.
Position Responsibilities- Performs preventative maintenance, modifications, and relocation of slot machines and peripheral devices.
- Coordinates with the Slot Operations staff to ensure maximum operating efficiency.
- Ensures all slot machines on the casino floor operate according to company standards.
- Rebuilds parts/equipment during downtimes and maintains the parts inventory as assigned.
- Circulates through assigned area performing repairs as necessary.
- Ensures that all slot/storage areas are cleaned and organized.
- Prioritizes workload to meet business demands.
- Responsible for the initial set‑up and testing of all new slot products.
- Observes all CCC/DGE and company policies and procedures.
- Responsible for the security of keys and all issued tools and equipment needed to perform the function of the position.
- Completes all regulatory/operational documents thoroughly and legibly.
- Delivers superior customer service when repairing any equipment.
- Exposure to casino‑related environmental factors including secondhand smoke, excessive noise, and stress associated with servicing customers in a high‑pressure, fast‑paced environment.
- Can stand for an entire shift and move throughout the casino/hotel areas.
- Available to work holidays, weekends, flexible shifts, and/or unusual hours.
- Able to lift, push, or pull up to 25 lbs.
- Minimum 1‑year slot repair experience in a casino environment.
- Successfully completed appropriate electronic technical schooling.
- High school diploma or equivalent; mechanical/electronic aptitude preferred.
- Superior communication skills and abilities.
- Working knowledge of computer software applications and practical usage preferred.
- Effective communication in English.
