Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Atlantic City, NJ, for the Assistant Banquet Manager at Harrah's Resort. The Assistant Banquet Manager will oversee day-to-day banquet operations, ensuring excellent service and guest satisfaction. Responsibilities include managing banquet setups and breakdowns, supervising team members, monitoring event timelines, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. This role requires collaboration with other departments to deliver seamless events and an enhanced guest experience.

Qualifications
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience overseeing staff and coordinating tasks
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, particularly under tight deadlines
  • Customer service expertise with a focus on delivering high guest satisfaction
  • Knowledge of banquet operations, including event setups, food and beverage service, and equipment handling
  • Familiarity with local health and safety regulations
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with teams and clients
  • Previous experience in hospitality, event planning, or a related field is preferred
  • Flexibility to work various hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is a plus
