As a Tester & Integrator you will provide knowledge of communication protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP etc. You will also provide expertise in the development of operational testing processes. You will be required to collaborate closely with other subject matter experts form different disciplines such as Logistic Support, Software, Hardware and Testing, in order to develop fully integrated and functional system and its components.

Must be able to pass the Federal Background Investigation and obtain the FAA Public Trust security clearance through one of the following methods:
- Be a US Citizen, have a US Green Card, or a Non-immigrant Work Authorization (VISA) OR
- Have resided in the US for three (3) consecutive years.
You must reside or be willing to relocate within a commutable distance to the work location.
Responsibilities- Provide 2nd Level Engineering support for ADAS.
- Troubleshoot legacy serial connection circuit issues.
- Troubleshoot issues with protocol converters.
- Provides support for weather systems connectivity to ADAS, including Time Division Multiplexing to Internet Protocol (TDM-IP) cut-over support.
- Follow documented specific steps to successfully complete cut-overs to IP over LTE, from legacy TDM circuits.
- Provide detailed reports on test results and recommendations for improvements after executing test cases.
- Identify, document, and track defects and issues found during testing.
- Support system test and key site test activities.
- Provide feedback on the testing process, suggesting areas of improvement in automation practices.
- Support other systems within the organization.
- B.S. of Computer Science, Math, or related technical field with a minimum of thirty (30) semester hours in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science and twelve (12) years of related work experience with computer science or math OR
- Master’s Degree in any field and nine (9) years of related work experience in computer science, statistics or math
- PhD or Doctoral in a related field with a minimum of thirty (30) semester hours of either undergrad or grad study in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science.
- Extensive understanding of Database, networking and computing environments.
- Proficient in Linux environment.
- Proficient with data communication, system analysis.
- Self motivated & able to adapt and learn new concepts
- Able to communicate and coordinate with other organizations in order to implement changes to their systems.
- Have strong attention to details.
- Work independently, as well as on a team.
- Communicate effectively through verbal and written communication.
- Knowledge on Enterprise system architectures.
- National Airspace Systems (NAS) Experience.
This position requires work to be performed at the William J Hughes Technical Center with a standard work schedule an occasional non-standard work hours and may require travel to airport locations around the USA when scheduling dictates or at management discretion. It will also require On-call for 24/7 site support.
