Associate – Casino/Employment Litigation Atlantic City, NJ

Cooper Levenson is seeking an Associate Attorney to join our team of professionals in Casino Defense Litigation/Employment Law.

• Assists Attorney in initial case evaluation and development of litigation strategy.
• Represents casino and hospitality clients in employment-related litigation, administrative proceedings, and internal investigations.
• Conducts extensive legal research and drafts correspondences, pleadings, discovery and motions.
• Prepares for and conducts depositions.
• Prepares for and participates in mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
• Assists in preparing settlement agreements, motions, and briefs.
• Performs other related duties, as assigned.

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to New Jersey Bar.
• 2-4 years’ experience in Defense Litigation;
  Casino / Hospitality experience, preferred.
• Strong understanding of Employment Law.
• Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills, high attention to detail and accuracy, and the ability to work in a fast-paced practice, required.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant computer software programs.
• Experience with Net Docs and Time Matters, helpful.

• Full-time
• In office:
  Monday-Friday
• Pay Range: $85,000-$125,000
