The Hillman Group invites you to join our team as a District Retail Merchandiser. It is an exciting time to be part of the Hillman Group – a leading partner for home improvement retailers across North America. As an innovative hardware solutions provider, we continually evolve and expand.

The District Retail Merchandiser will improve the consumer buying experience by creating and implementing merchandising solutions. This travel-based role includes overnight stays during the week.

• Cultivate relationships with in-store personnel
• Execute merchandising resets, build retail displays, and manage merchandising of impulse items
• Implement planograms, build displays, place new items, and rotate stock
• May participate in the design of plan‑ograms and other merchandising solutions
• Fill in for Territory Sales Manager as needed
• Train for future opportunity as Territory Sales Manager
• Travel overnight as required

• Excellent organizational skills and strong communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with business partners
• Self‑starter, quick learner, strong attention to detail, works well independently and in a team setting
• Comfortable in changing environments
• Physical requirements:
  
  standing/walking up to 8 hours, lifting up to 75 lbs, crouching, bending, twisting, repetitive hand movements
• High school diploma and at least 2 years’ experience in merchandising
• Retail hardware experience an added advantage
• Computer literate
