Neuroscience District Sales Manager (Psychiatry) - PA-NJ District

Job Overview

The Neuroscience District Sales Manager will lead sales efforts in the psychiatry specialty within the PA-NJ district, managing a team of sales representatives, developing strategic plans, and fostering client relationships to promote Vanda Pharmaceuticals' neuroscience products.

Responsibilities
  • Recruit, train, and develop high-performing specialty sales teams.
  • Achieve sales targets and expand market share in the district.
  • Build and maintain relationships with healthcare providers and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with industry and company standards.
  • Travel up to 75% to meet district and company needs.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years in the pharmaceutical industry with at least 4 years in sales management.
  • Experience in CNS, psychiatry, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or depression.
  • Proven leadership skills in recruiting, developing, and retaining sales teams.
  • Strong sales performance and leadership track record.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to secure industry-standard credentialing.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and business skills.
  • Residence near a major airport within the district.
  • Experience in startup or small company environments is a plus.
