Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Primavera P6 Scheduler to join our dynamic project management team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project scheduling and controls, particularly using Primavera P6 software, to support the planning, execution, and delivery of complex projects. The Primavera P6 Scheduler will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring project schedules, ensuring alignment with project goals, and facilitating effective communication among project stakeholders.
KeyResponsibilities:
Develop and Maintain Project Schedules: Create, update, and manage project schedules using Primavera P6, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project timelines.
Schedule Analysis: Perform critical path analysis, identify schedule risks, provide recommendations for mitigating potential delays.
Resource Allocation: Manage resources within the schedule to optimize project efficiency and effectiveness.
Progress Monitoring: Track project progress against baseline schedules, update schedules with actual performance data, and report on schedule variances.
Coordination and Communication: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, procurement specialists, and other stakeholders to gather necessary schedule inputs and ensure alignment with project objectives.
Reporting: Generate and distribute regular schedule reports, including Gantt charts, resource histograms, and progress S-curves, to project teams and senior management.
Schedule Audits: Conduct periodic schedule reviews and audits to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry best practices.
Training and Support: Provide training and support to project team members on Primavera P6 scheduling best practices and software functionalities.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive schedule documentation and records for reference and audit purposes.
Qualifications:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project scheduling, with a focus on Primavera P6.
Technical Skills: Proficient in Primavera P6 software, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Procore, and project management software tools.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of project management principles, critical path method (CPM) scheduling, and resource management, alongside an understanding of construction best practices.
Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex project data and make informed decisions.
Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse project stakeholders.
Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and accuracy in schedule development and reporting.
Certifications (Preferred): Project Management Professional (PMP), PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP), or equivalent certification.
