Position SummaryResponsible for providing overall leadership and management of the health and well‑being of the residents within the community. Sign on bonus: $5,000.00.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Ensures that the community follows all federal, state, and local laws and regulations pertaining to clinical care.
- Responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting occurrence trends, and developing and implementing improvement plans when necessary.
- Partners with the Administrator and other team members to analyze and maintain resident and team member health safety.
- Partners with the pharmacy consultant to provide optimal pharmaceutical services to residents.
- Responsible for the clinical expertise of licensed nurses.
- Assists with educational presentations as assigned by the Administrator.
- Identifies ongoing needs and services of residents through the assessment and service plan process, documenting any changes in health care status.
- Oversees the completion of monthly updates and reports pertinent changes to the responsible party.
- Collaborates with other department coordinators to review and discuss potential changes in service or medication levels.
- Ensures residents’ service plans are updated as required by state regulations.
- Participates in community awareness activities and community relations.
- Maintains communication with residents’ families and/or responsible parties regarding changes in care or health concerns.
- Informs the Business Office of fee changes related to care needs.
- Schedules clinical staff on a monthly basis.
- Ensures adequate clinical supplies are available.
- Participates in a rotating on‑call schedule.
- Other duties as assigned.
Provides supervision to LPNs, Certified Nursing Assistants, and others as assigned to assure delivery of consistently high quality care to residents, in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.

Educational Requirements and Experience- Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing;
Registered Nurse preferred. - One (1) year in a nursing leadership role;
Senior Living experience preferred. - BSL Certification.

Skills:- Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office, and ability to learn new applications.

- Must demonstrate an interest in working with a senior population.
- Ability to communicate effectively speaking the primary language of the residents.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Interacts with guests, residents and staff in a courteous and friendly manner.
- Responds promptly to resident needs.
- Works primarily indoors in a climate‑controlled setting.
- Team Members may be exposed to blood and/or body fluids with potential exposure to hazardous materials and infectious diseases.
