Registered Nurse – Obstetrics / Med-Surg (OB/GYN)
LocationAtlantic, IA
Schedule / Job TypeContract | Night Shift | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in labor & delivery, postpartum, and recovery settings
- Monitor and assess obstetric patients throughout all stages of care
- Float to the med-surg floor as needed when obstetric patient census is low
- Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in alignment with unit protocols and standards
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Iowa or a compact state license
- Experience in obstetrics, including labor & delivery, postpartum, and/or recovery
- Ability and willingness to float to med-surg when census requires
- Prior experience in a med-surg setting in addition to OB
- Experience working in a smaller or critical access hospital environment
- Familiarity with cross-training across multiple units
- Opportunity to work in a dynamic OB unit with exposure to a broad range of patient care experiences
