This is a part‑time assignment for 20 hours a week (Tues, Thurs 10‑hr days)

• Radiographic Exams:
  Perform and interpret radiographic exams (X‑rays) to assess dental health and diagnose conditions.
• Dental Treatment:
  Provide emergency and routine dental treatments, including but not limited to oral surgery, restorative dentistry, periodontal therapy and extractions.
• Oral Health Care:
  Correct significant oral health issues that may impact the inmate’s overall health and well‑being.
• Referrals:
  Make proper referrals for procedures or treatments that cannot be performed within the facility.
• Incident Reporting:
  Report any unusual occurrences, accidents or incidents to the Site or Regional Medical Director for appropriate follow‑up.

• Current State License:
  Must be licensed to practice dentistry in the state of employment.
• DEA Registration:
  Must maintain a current DEA number for prescribing controlled substances.
• Background Screening: A background check, security clearance and drug screening are required for this role.
