Water Distribution Operator
Full‑time, on‑site role located in Atmore, AL.
ResponsibilitiesMaintain and operate water distribution systems, monitor and maintain pump stations, ensure water quality, handle water treatment processes, and use heavy equipment to operate, repair, and upkeep water infrastructure systems.
Qualifications- Experience with water distribution systems and pump stations
- Understanding of water quality management and water treatment processes
- Proficiency with operating heavy equipment used in water infrastructure tasks
- Ability to perform routine maintenance and repair tasks efficiently and safely
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
- Good physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions
- Relevant certifications or licensure for water distribution and/or treatment operations are preferred
- High school diploma or GED equivalent; additional technical training is an advantage
Must live within 200 miles of Mobile, AL (zip 36525) and have a CDL A license.
