Transportation Supervisor – Lineage
This role oversees daily operations within the Transportation department, ensuring compliance, reviewing performance, and resolving driver issues.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Oversee, evaluate, and ensure ELD performance working with the ELD Coordinator to resolve issues.
- Communicate, review, and ensure DOT compliance; keep driver logs current for review.
- Resolve driver issues and needs, on and off the road.
- Review backhaul assignments and adjust routing or delivery schedules as necessary.
- Coordinate time‑off requests with appropriate management personnel.
- Ensure driver documentation is completed accurately on a daily basis.
- Work with Logistics to establish efficient routing.
- Review communication logs and address open issues daily.
- Analyze driver performance and provide recommendations to appropriate personnel.
- Assist the Transportation Manager with supervisory responsibilities, including directing the work of Dispatchers and resolving personnel issues.
- Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.

- Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Attention to detail and accuracy with commitment to meeting deadlines.
- Proficient with MS Office Suite, scheduling software, and routing software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of driver safety and DOT compliance requirements.
- Ability to motivate and develop employees.
Associate's degree with a minimum of two (2) years' experience in transportation or a related role, including at least one (1) year in a supervisory capacity; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Food industry experience preferred.
