Staff Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our manufacturing team. Process, control, and reconcile various functions that fall under the realm of accounting and inventory.

• Perform daily cash receipts
• Collections and credit
• Quarterly sales and use tax
• Assist with annual plan process including sales and operational planning, operating budgets and updating labor and overhead rates
• Responsible for providing various financial reports which accurately calculate and reconcile reserves, cost allocations, etc.
• Assist with annual financial audits
• Prepare and post journal entries
• Prepare account balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare reports detailing monthly expenses by cost center
• Assist in other financial functions as needed.

• Detail oriented, ability to work in team environment
• Ability to multi-task efficiently
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills

• BS Degree in Accounting
• 0-4 years experience in an accounting role
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Office Excel
• Experience with an ERP operating system preferred. Oracle preferred
