Robbins Children's Programs is seeking a qualified and experienced Behavior Consultant with strong leadership experience to support and guide staff, children, and families within our preschool and after-school programs. The ideal candidate will be preschool certified, knowledgeable in child development and behavior support strategies, and skilled in coaching staff to implement positive, developmentally appropriate practices. The preferred shift is a split shift Monday through Friday 6:30-10:30 and return 1:30-5:30.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide behavior consultation and support for children ages preschool through school-age
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior support plans
- Model and promote positive behavior guidance strategies in classroom and program settings
- Coach, mentor, and support teaching staff through observation, feedback, and training
- Collaborate with administrators, teachers, families, and outside service providers
- Support program leadership in maintaining compliance with licensing and program standards
- Assist with staff professional development related to social-emotional learning and behavior management
- Participate in team meetings
- Preschool certification
- Bachelor’s or Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Psychology, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working in preschool and/or after-school programs
- Demonstrated leadership experience, including staff coaching or supervision
- Strong knowledge of positive behavior supports and developmentally appropriate practices
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Skills:
- Experience working with children with diverse learning and behavioral needs
- Training in social-emotional learning, trauma-informed care, or behavior intervention strategies
- Ability to lead with professionalism, empathy, and consistency
