Vice President Finance, Global Operations

Sensata Technologies is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Vice President of Finance to drive the financial strategy for the Global Operations organization. This executive is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and management of comprehensive financial models, forecasts, and performance metrics to support strategic decision-making. Collaborating closely with senior leadership, the VP provides actionable insights through in-depth financial analysis, scenario planning, and risk assessment.

The role demands a strong command of corporate finance, budgeting, and data analytics, as well as the ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate complex financial concepts to stakeholders at all levels. This role will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes across global manufacturing and supply chain operations
• Serve as a financial advisor to the CFO and executive team for strategic planning purposes
• Monitor operational metrics to assess performance and identify improvement opportunities
• Manage financial risks related to global operations, including currency exposure, commodity pricing, and supply chain disruptions
• Communicating performance against KPIs and objectives to senior management; recommending growth strategies, as well as identifying areas for improvement
• Oversee scalable financial systems and drive adoption of efficient processes and standards across the company in partnership with internal stakeholders
• Identify inefficiencies in company systems and advise on overcoming them to use resources more efficiently
• Gather financial data for analysis and forecasting with respect to profits, cost accounting, inventory Financial management, productivity and sourcing analytics.
• Coordinate the preparation of annual, quarterly, and monthly reports
• Lead, retain, and develop a high performing, global team; oversee and motivate individuals and teams to achieve breakthrough improvements at all levels in the organization
• Directs and assigns resources to meet organizational objectives

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of related work experience
• Ability to lead, coach, and develop team members
• Holds self and others accountable to achieving goals and standards
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
• Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
• Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
• Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
• Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers
