Who We Are Looking For

Residential Counselor – dynamic team member with passion for youth support in an apartment‑style, staff‑supported environment. Ideal candidate is a safety‑conscious team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Assist with educational and parenting groups.
• Act as liaison with Horizons for Homeless children and volunteer partners.
• Babysit children twice weekly during group hours with volunteers.
• Check in with clients throughout the shift to reinforce independent living, parenting skills, and address emerging needs.
• Transport clients to daycare, shopping, and appointments.
• Administer medications to clients and children.
• Document all client interactions.

• 21 years or older.
• High School Diploma or above (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
• Active Driver’s License.
• Excellent organization and communication skills.
• Preferred:
  Prior experience working with adolescents in a residential or inpatient setting.
• Background and driving record checks will be performed.
