Cash Application Representative - 32h

Responsible for the receiving and the application of all cash transactions processed on a daily basis, including but not limited to: preparing and balancing the Hospital’s daily bank deposit and providing customer service assistance to patients and visitors at the Cashier window.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

• N/A

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a business office setting.
• Ability to use office equipment such as calculator, fax, copy machine.
• Interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and departments throughout the hospital.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Cash posting experience in a Medical Office Setting.
• Knowledge of payer Explanation of Benefits.
• Knowledge of 3rd party payment reimbursement.
• Previous electronic and manual cash posting experience.
• Previous cash handling experience, balancing end of day.

• Medical Billing/Cash posting experience in a Medical Office Setting.
• Experience in Medical EMR software.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment.

• Receipt of cash transactions.
• Preparing and balancing of Hospital’s daily bank deposit.
• Providing exceptional customer service.
• Responsive to customer needs at Cashier window.

Salary Range: $18.99-$23.07
