Insure Bonding Mills have the correct work rolls required to complete scheduled bonds.

• Chock and un-choke work rolls as determined by weekly bond schedules
• Roll changes requested by bonding mill personnel
• Maintain chocks are in proper working order
• Keep an inventory of all work rolls
• Manage all work rolls that require outside processing (i.e., chrome plating)
• Notify your Supervisor or AC when rolls need to be shipped for plating
• Communicate and coordinate roll profile priorities with roll grind personnel
• Communicate and coordinate any work on rolls, chocks and bearings that need to be done in the maintenance department
• Super finish journals when needed prior to roll grinding
• Grit blast rolls for bumper products using grit blast lathe
• Manage steel brushes for bonding mills
• Assemble new brushes as requested by bonding personnel
• Set up brand new brushes for baking at bells
• Dress brushes as needed
• Order all supplies for roll change areas, including but not limited to managing inventory of all spare parts required, bronze sleeves, roller bearings, tapered bearings, locking rings, seals, etc.
• Clean area as needed
• Fill in at mills if needed (helper)

• High School or Equivalency Diploma
• Experience operating related equipment

• Heavy lifting up to 25 lbs
• Standing up to 75% of time
