American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele unit, requiring MA RN licensure and prior telemetry experience.

• Work on a 40-bed medical/surgical unit with a telemetry focus
• Patient population includes adults and geriatrics, including colorectal surgery pathway (ISCR) patients
• Manage cardiac drips such as Diltiazem, Amiodarone, Bumex, Insulin, and Lasix
• Evening shift schedule, 5x8 hours (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM)
• Weekend coverage required every other weekend
• Floating required
• Uses Omnicell medication system and Cerner documentation system

• Active MA RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg Tele nursing experience required
• Skilled in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, and emergency response
• Experience titrating cardiac drips
• Cerner experience preferred but not required

• Provide nursing care on a telemetry-focused medical/surgical unit, including cardiac drip management and dysrhythmia monitoring
• Support colorectal surgery pathway (ISCR) patients following standardized recovery protocols
• First-time travelers with 2-3 years of experience and either Epic or Cerner experience will be considered
• Returning staff must wait one year before being eligible to return as a traveler
