CNC Grinder - Nights
- Permanent Night shift that sees you work only a total of 12 night shifts every 4 weeks (28 days).
- You get a lot of spare time and flexibility on this system. More info can be provided on request.
- Training can be provided on where needed if you have some CNC machining skills.
Salary:
Starting salary banding of £33,516 per annum during the initial months training. This will be then rise once up to speed (£36,417), and again once you have mastered all techniques – up to £38,049 per annum.
We are recruiting for multiple Machine Operators, across either permanent nights or days, to join a rapidly expanding, established manufacturer that make special purpose components used within the aerospace sector. Training can be provided in areas for the right person, a good attitude is more important to the culture of this business. Excellent opportunity to train and learn new skills. This CNC Operator role focuses on using a range of precision engineering machinery.
The CNC Grinder job would suit:
- An experienced CNC Machinist with some operating / setting experience. Specific Starrag machining experience would be an advantage, but not essential.
- Worked within a precision engineering environment or around manufacturing / production machinery.
- Good all-round Mechanical knowledge in general.
- A good eye for quality and detail.
- Flexible to work a rotating night shift.
- Please note, initial training / induction would be on the day shift.
- Well established precision engineering business who are undergoing significant growth.
- Excellent training provided, chance to develop new skills.
- Work on high value parts within a modern engineering facility.
- Setting and operating recently purchased CNC machinery. State of the art machinery.
- Working across a range of CNC Machines. The company have Milling machines, lathes, grinders, and EDM machinery. Opportunity to receive training across different areas.
- Working to tight tolerances, machining a range of high value components.
- Parts produced are for the aerospace sector.
- Working to production targets and ensuring quality standards are met.
