Guardian Glass is looking for a Senior Corporate Accountant to join our team in Auburn Hills, MI!

As a key member of our finance organization, you will drive the integrity and accuracy of our corporate financial operations, provide strategic insight, and lead process improvements. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing accounting accuracy, while leading process improvements, within a dynamic and collaborative environment.

• Take ownership of key accounting activities-applying critical thinking to drive accuracy and efficiency in reconciliations, month-end close processes, and collaborative support that strengthens the overall performance of the accounting team
• Oversee and validate financial data imports in One Stream and other platforms, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance
• Act as a strategic partner for cross-functional teams by providing accounting support and knowledge sharing
• Identify and execute opportunities for continuous improvement of accounting processes that impact reporting and support business initiatives.
• Prepare and review audit documentation and serve as a contact for internal and external auditors

• Minimum 3 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate accounting environment
• Demonstrated understanding in journal entry preparation, General Ledger processes, financial statement preparation, and reconciliations
• Excellent attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex financial information to a variety of audiences

• Bachelor's degree or CPA/CMA
• Extensive experience in one or more of the following: key Excel functions (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), Power BI, or One Stream
• Experience implementing process improvements and leveraging automation tools in accounting operations
• Knowledge of global currency and accounting processes
