Corporate Accountant

Guardian Glass is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Corporate Accountant to join our team in Auburn Hills, MI!

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in our global financial operations, supporting both routine accounting duties and opportunities for process improvement.

• Accurately record financial transactions in the accounting system
• Perform regular General Ledger (GL) processes to ensure accurate and timely posting to the ledger
• Contribute ideas and support initiatives to enhance and improve the GL process
• Import and validate financial data in the One Stream platform
• Take ownership of key accounting tasks by using critical thinking to ensure accurate reconciliations, support month-end closings, and assist the accounting team
• Prepare and provide required documentation and reports for internal and external audits

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills
• Willingness to learn and contribute to continuous improvement

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• Up to 5 years of relevant accounting experience
• Familiarity with journal entry preparation and General Ledger processes
• Knowledge in one or more of the following: key Excel functions (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), Power BI, or One Stream
