What You’ll Do

As a Project Manager, you’ll oversee property restoration and construction projects from kickoff through close-out, ensuring excellence in execution and client satisfaction. You’ll be responsible for estimating, budgeting, scheduling, vendor coordination, and client communications—all while helping guide a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Leading restoration and reconstruction projects with a focus on quality, budget control, and timeline adherence.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project success.
  • Developing accurate cost estimates and detailed project scopes by working closely with clients, engineers, and architects.
  • Creating and managing project budgets and schedules.
  • Overseeing on-site performance of subcontractors and skilled trades, ensuring top-tier craftsmanship and safety compliance.
  • Responding to property damage emergencies as needed.
  • Producing and issuing purchase orders for subcontractor services.
  • Participating in a rotating on-call schedule for emergency response projects.
  • Ensuring all health and safety standards are followed and addressing any compliance concerns proactively.
  • Delivering consistent, detailed updates to internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
What You’ll Bring
  • At least 3-5 year of experience as a construction project manager, ideally in the restoration/construction industry
    .
  • Strong working knowledge of construction processes
    , building codes
    , blueprints
    , and permits
    .
  • Proficiency in Xactimate and construction project management software.
  • Excellent time management, leadership, and communication skills.
  • The ability to work independently, think critically, and resolve challenges on the fly.
  • A degree in Construction Management or a related field is a plus.
  • Must reside within 50 miles of Auburn Hills, MI to be considered.
