A pioneering leader in automotive paint finishing systems is seeking a dynamicElectrical Engineering Specialistto join their innovative team in Rochester Hills. Key Responsibilities:
- Project Mastery:Dive deep into customer project specifications, crafting a comprehensive scope of work for Controls & Electrical installation subcontractors.
- Negotiation and Collaboration:Take the lead in both customer and subcontractor negotiations, ensuring successful contract awards and robust partnerships.
- Technical Expertise:Harness your knowledge to review and approve electrical schematics, PLC logic, and HMI graphics. Oversee the fabrication of control panels and ensure the seamless coordination of IT manufacturing requirements.
- Strategic Planning:Skillfully create requisitions for equipment, determine electrical load requirements, and maintain crucial project schedules.
- Continuous Improvement:Employ a proactive approach in maintaining our Things Gone Right/Things Gone Wrong journal, driving continuous improvement and upholding our high standards.
What We Need from You:
- A Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 0-5+ years of experience in Automotive Paint Finishing fresh graduates with a passion for the industry are welcome!
- Proficiency in reading Electrical schematics and PLC/HMI systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and familiarity with NFPA, NEC codes.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
