The Power Inverter Module Innovation is responsible for leading the design, development, and technical assessment of power electronics components, including inverters, converters, and onboard charging devices. This role serves as a subject matter expert (SME) in power electronics and plays a key role in advancing technology maturity by following established Technology Readiness Level (TRL) processes, ensuring requirements alignment, and evaluating emerging technologies.
The position requires close collaboration with internal manufacturing and production teams, program management, advanced purchasing, cost engineering, external suppliers, and testing laboratories to ensure compliance with specifications, requirements, and industry best practices. The ideal candidate brings strong hands‑on design experience, deep understanding of hardware circuitry and failure modes, and solid knowledge of manufacturing processes.
In addition, this role is responsible for developing and maintaining technical documentation that captures best practices, supports continuous improvement initiatives, and contributes to long‑term product and technology roadmaps.
Key Responsibilities- Lead design and development activities for power electronics components, including power inverters, converters, and charging systems
- Act as a technical authority and SME in power electronics, supporting technology evaluation and readiness assessments
- Ensure alignment of requirements, specifications, and documentation throughout the development lifecycle
- Apply TRL processes to assess technology maturity and support decision‑making
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including manufacturing, program management, purchasing, cost engineering, suppliers, and testing organizations
