This role sits within ABB’s Robotics business, a leading global robotics company. We are entering an exciting new chapter as we’ve announced the plan for Soft Bank Group to acquire ABB Robotics. This position reports to the Director of Rebuild, CS Quality & Warranty.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the Sales Support team and adapt and implement sales support strategy for the designated area. Each day, you will ensure technical and commercial support for internal and external customers and oversee estimations, bids, and proposals to ensure they are in line with ABB standards and targets.

• Creating, implementing and reviewing local sales support strategy.
• Defining key targets for customer support and ensuring those are achieved.
• Assigning and allocating internal and external resources for technical and commercial support and proposal preparation.
• Identifying the most suitable approach (e.g., direct sales, consortium, or channel) that can be applied to better serve the customer.

The work model for the role is in Auburn Hills, MI. This role is contributing to the Modernization Services/Customer Service/Robotics in the United States.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Operations or similar field preferred; relevant work experience will also be considered.
• 12 or more years’ experience in leading automation project management or proposals.
• Possess enhanced knowledge of Powertrain, Paint, Arc Welding, Material Handling, Body‑in‑White and General
  
  Industry type

• Proven experience in operations management.
• Immersion in Project Management tools and Robotics Automation.
• Dazzled track record in process improvements based on results.
• English fluency.
• Must possess authorization to work permanently without sponsorship now or in the future.
