Are you a talented Proposal Designer with a knack for system layouts and process equipment integration? Join my client's team and play a pivotal role in designing comprehensive proposals for Automotive and Industrial Paint Shop Facilities. In this role, you'll be responsible for developing complete proposal drawing packages for bid purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Focus on system layout of process equipment, including integration and installation of equipment/conveyors.
• Develop detailed proposal drawing packages for Automotive and Industrial Paint Shop Facilities.

Skills and Expertise:

• Proficient in AutoCAD, with strong knowledge in paint shop process flow, design, and system layout.
• Familiarity with HVAC, automotive manufacturing, and industrial shop layouts.
• Experienced in designing manufacturing layouts, particularly in paint shops and conveyor systems.
• Knowledgeable in Pre-Treatment, Washers, Electrocoat, Ovens, Spray booths, Paint and Sealer Automation, and work decks.
• Skilled in designing automotive or manufacturing conveyor and material handling systems (OH P&F, power roll bed conveyors, monorail, VDL, transfers).
• Competent in HVAC and Process piping systems.
• Capable of performing engineering calculations (Process Flow parameters, air flow design, fluid design).
• Basic architectural understanding for roof openings and floor loading design.
• Comfortable working in manufacturing facilities and conducting field equipment checks.
• Strong team collaboration skills.

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience with AutoCAD.
• A four-year engineering or technical degree, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Proven experience in AutoCAD 2D (3D capabilities are a plus but not required).
• Previous experience in designing manufacturing layouts, especially paint shops and conveyor layouts.
• Background in automotive or manufacturing conveyor and material handling systems design.
