This is an interesting post for someone in DESIGN to move into Project Estimation.
Our client is a large turnkey paint facilities developer, working on major projects for automotive OEM clients across the USA.
This company is looking to take a design / development engineer and train them into project estimation.
Candidates should have the following skills / experience:
- Knowledge of industrial ventilation and sheet metal/structural design detailing
- Knowledge of Factory Paint Shops and component systems.
You will be trained to:
- Compile field and labor costs
- Prepare cost summaries.
- Evaluate bids.
- Prepare bids.
- Attend bid meetings.
This is a great opportunity for candidates with design skills, who wish to move more into project and estimation.
