Product Engineer for our Tiers Business Unit
for our Tech Center in Auburn Hills, MI.
The
Product Engineer
is responsible for managing and developing new product for the Tiers customer programs with focus on internal and external customer deliverables to include design and part feasibilities. This position is fully onsite in Auburn Hills, MI.
- Manage and communicate development of new product - daily
- Support design activities of new product - daily
- Manage testing requirements for new products - as required
- Maintain and manage ED&T budgets for each assigned program - weekly
- Support APQP database (Phase 0 &
1) for each assigned program – weekly - Creating and maintaining DFMEA, DVP, Open Issues
- Support USF customers with ongoing communication meetings – weekly
- Support tool trials and pre-production build activities, as needed
- Support launch activities at USF manufacturing and customer sites – throughout launch and SOP Post 90 activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent job experience preferred.
- Minimum 4 to 6 years of automotive engineering experience
