Facilities Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Facilities Operations Specialist to join our Product Development Team. Embedded directly within the operations group, you will partner with engineering function leaders to support facility activities aligned with North America Engineering initiatives. In this role, you will bridge operational goals and engineering execution by ensuring performance accountability, optimizing spaces, and driving process efficiency across teams.

• Strategic Operations Support:
  Partner with engineering leadership to develop, maintain, and refine operational processes supporting organizational goals and strategic initiatives.
• Space & Facility Planning:
  Support facility layouts, space allocations, and physical operational needs across engineering environments.
• Variance Analysis & Optimization:
  Identify, track, and analyze operational variances, recommending data-driven corrective actions to hit efficiency targets.
• Impact Analysis:
  Conduct impact analyses to evaluate and support broad engineering initiatives and strategic projects.
• Business Case Development:
  Collaborate with stakeholders to build compelling business cases for proposed investments in engineering tools, training, and resources.
• Reporting & Executive Dashboards:
  Develop reports and presentations to communicate key performance indicators (KPIs), operational risks, and growth opportunities to leadership.
• Operational Reviews:
  Prepare comprehensive materials and data packs for operational reviews, business reviews, and executive updates.
• Process Improvement:
  Identify and implement standardized process enhancements across tracking, reporting, and general operations management.
• Experience:
  
  3 to 5 years of relevant experience in facilities operations, space planning, engineering operations, or a related field.
• Technical Drafting & Layouts:
  Hands-on experience reading, creating, and editing facility layouts, 2D drawings, and blueprints using AutoCAD LT (or similar standard CAD software).
• Space Planning Expertise:
  Proven track record in physical space planning and facility resource alignment.
• Data Analytics:
  Strong analytical mindset with experience tracking metrics, identifying operational variances, and leveraging data for decision-making.
• Software Proficiency:
  High level of competence with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Word).
• Communication & Planning:
  Exceptional organizational, planning, and interpersonal skills with the ability to summarize complex operational data for leadership.
• Adaptability & Continuous Improvement:
  Flexibility to execute a wide range of assignments in a dynamic environment, with openness to leveraging modern tools (including AI solutions) to enhance workflow efficiency.
