Innovative Tech Solutions Inc is looking for a talented Design and Release Engineer to join our growing team in Auburn Hills, MI. Responsibilities:- Lead design and release activities for components and systems throughout the product development lifecycle
- Create, manage, and release engineering drawings, CAD models, and technical documentation
- Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, suppliers, and program teams to ensure design intent is met
- Support design reviews, DFMEA, DVP&R, and other engineering validation processes
- Manage BOM (Bill of Materials) creation, part numbering, and change management processes
- Identify and resolve design issues through root cause analysis and corrective action
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, customer requirements, and internal engineering specifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in design and release or product engineering
- Proficiency in CAD software (CATIA, Solid Works, or equivalent)
- Experience with PLM/PDM systems such as Teamcenter or Windchill
- Strong understanding of GD&T and engineering drawing standards
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Automotive or manufacturing industry experience preferred
