Prototype Build Engineer

Physical Mock-Up bridges the gap between design and production. We transform ideas into tangible prototypes that allow designers and engineers to visualize, test, and refine the product before production. This is a design Engineering support position to coordinate builds & projects with Shop Technicians, CAD Designers, and release engineers from all areas of product design & development, along with supporting Product Design Office.

We specialize in engineering properties including under-hoods, under bodies, wind-tunnel vehicles and occupant packaging properties for real-world validation, ergonomics, component placement, and serviceability. This role manages the full lifecycle of those builds, from scoping through delivery.

• Associate degree minimum & Bachelor Degree preferred.
